Sometimes deep scriptural truths can be hard to accept.
You know what I am talking about. Things that we just seemingly can’t wrap our heads around.
One thing I love about Jesus is how upside-down He has established His kingdom.
You see, Matthew 18 addresses children, faith, and the greatest in the Kingdom…but what you may not know is that – in that culture – children were the lowest of the low. They were not seen as useful to society, they were often neglected, forgotten about, and had ‘little to no involvement with matters of the faith and life’.
But Jesus – precious Jesus – in typical Jesus fashion…turns the world upside down by saying that the one who comes to Him like a CHILD is the greatest in heaven.
May we be like little children.
Just to take Him at His word…Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus…
