John 15 is probably one of my favorite chapters in all of scripture.

In it we can see clearly the heart of Jesus and His wish for His people.
He is the vine.
We are the branches.

What does that mean?
Well, He addresses it.

It means we can do NOTHING apart from Him.

The greek word used there actually directly translates to nothing.
Imagine that.

What makes us think we can do anything on our own?
We press and press and press – frantically scrambling to get things done.

But – Jesus in all of His wisdom whispers to our soul – REST in me while you labor.
Trust my hand.
Trust my work.
Trust me.

Will you trust Him?
